2017 Nutmeg Summer Series – Summer Traffic Advisory
We are very excited to welcome you to this year’s summer season. For those who haven’t visited the UConn campus recently, please be aware that many roads are under construction and you should allow extra time for your journey.
Specifically, North Eagleville Road is closed at Storrs Road. This is a common route to the Harriet S. Jorgensen Theatre. If you are coming from I-84, you will need to detour at Route 44 (turn right at corner with Cumberland Farms/Sunaco/CVS). Then turn left on to Discovery Drive. This is a new road that connects to the campus.
In addition, some internal campus roads are under construction. Please refer to the Office of Planning, Design and Construction’s page for maps and up-to-date information. Link: http://updc.uconn.edu/2017/05/10/summer-traffic-patterns/
We know the construction may be confusing for some of our visitors. To help alleviate this as much as possible, we will post directional signs along the major routes leading to the theatre.
If you have any questions, please contact the box office during regularly scheduled hours (Tuesday-Friday 12pm to 5pm) at 860-486-2113.
