Every three years the University of Connecticut performance faculty conducts a national search and selects 10 of the most promising performers for advanced training in the Connecticut Repertory Theatre MFA Acting Program. Only a few weeks ago, the next class arrived in Storrs and embarked on a journey of artistic growth. It is a journey they will share with you.
Theatre is a unique form of art. The creative process does not end when the audience is invited into the theatre. Once you take your seat — the performance begins — and you the audience play a crucial role.
How important do you ask? We asked some of our recent MFA graduates to share their thoughts on just how big a part you play.
Thank you for your encouragement, your tears, your laughter and your applause. Thank you for your support as an audience member and as a contributor to the Patron Fund.
We hope you will support the next class of MFA Acting students on their journey. Please support CRT and the great stage it provides for artistic exploration and development. We invite you to make your tax deductible donation to the Patron Fund by completing the CRT Donation Form and returning it, or by going online and selecting Connecticut Repertory Theatre – Patron Fund.
Then come to the theatre, take your seat, share the magic and play your part.
