Parking Information

NATE KAFFER THEATRE STUDIO THEATRE

(The Moors; Much Ado About Nothing)

A campus construction project has reduced parking capacity in the UConn lots adjacent to the Fine Arts complex. Patrons are encouraged to allow extra time for parking and walking to the theatre.

Limited parking is available near the Nafe Katter Theatre in the UCONN lots behind the School of Fine Arts and in Downtown Storrs.  Patrons using mobility devices can also enter from the time-limited drop-off lane just outside the theatre’s front doors.

The parking garage at 33 Royce Circle in downtown Storrs is free for the first two hours, and $1/hour for each additional hour before midnight. Please obey any posted signs at E.O. Smith High School.

HARRIET S. JORGENSEN THEATRE

(Old Man and the Old Moon; Poocatello)

Please be aware that some delays are possible due to high-volume campus and visitor traffic and allow adequate time for traveling and parking prior to performances.

There is a fee for parking the North Garage. Free parking is available in the surface Lot N adjacent to the North Garage.

*PARKING LOT AND STREET CLOSURES DUE TO CONSTRUCTION:

As a result of campus construction, some campus streets and parking lots adjacent to the Nafe Katter Theatre will be affected during the Fall 2023 semester.

  • Approximately 50% of the Fine Arts Area 1 Parking Lot (Lot R) will remain open during the construction project.

  • Portions of Coventry Road and Maple Lane will be taken offline; access to Lots R and S will be accessible via Bolton Road only.

  • Lot S will begin to be used for construction as work mobilizes in Late September - at least 50% of the lot will remain open.

  • Temporary pedestrian routes will be established for navigating safely around construction activity; please be mindful and adhere to safe passageways.
