Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python and you have THE 39 STEPS a fast paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theatre. This two-time tony and drama desk award-winning treat is packed with nonstop laughs, over 150 zany characters played by a cast of four, an onstage plane crash, handcuffs, a missing finger, and some good old-fashioned romance. This production will be performed by an ensemble of student actors.

RUNNING TIME RANGE: 2 hours- 2 hours 10 minutes, including one 10 minute intermission

Following the Thursday, November 4 performance, there will be a talkback with members of the cast and crew.

Cast and crew will be wearing masks during the performance.
Patrons are required to wear masks, regardless of vaccination status.

SEATING
Patrons will be seated upon arrival with their party. There will be one empty seat between each party as part of our Covid-19 safety plan.

BAG POLICY
No backpacks, laptops, or briefcases are permitted inside CRT theatres. Only bags smaller than 12" x 6" x 12" will be permitted inside. Patrons with over-sized or prohibited items will be asked to return them to their vehicles or discard them. An exception will be made for medically necessary items. Over-sized and prohibited items are unable to be stored at the theatre.

This production utilizes haze, theatrical fog, and strobe lights.

The entrance to the Studio Theatre is TO THE RIGHT of the Nafe Katter Theatre.

PARKING
Parking is available in any UConn lot in the evening and on weekend. Just past the Studio Theatre, you'll find University parking lots for your convenience.
