Men On Boats
By Jaclyn Backhaus
Directed by Beth Gardiner
In Connecticut Repertory Theatre’s first live streamed performance, ten explorers, four boats and the Grand Canyon take center stage in a subversive re-working of history.
Virtual performances
will be complete with background set graphics and costuming. Director Beth Gardiner returns from last spring to guide our cast through this engaging, funny, and ironic ride with John Wesley Powell and his crew, commissioned to explore the Colorado River in 1869. The all-male expedition, by direction of the playwright, has an all-female cast. Catastrophe and hilarity ensue!
Men On Boats is presented by special arrangement with DRAMATISTS PLAY SERVICE, Inc., New York
